Professor Bart Muys of the KULeuven introduced the subject and outlined various possible solutions. Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Petit (NTF) highlighted the legislative constraints on adapting forests, and visionary forest owner Ramon Reyntiens shared his experience of 30 years of forestry experiments in his Ardennes and Gaum woods.
