A planting campaign in full swing!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The 2021\/2022 planting campaign is drawing to a close, with the last trees to be planted in the coming weeks. In all, there are 19410 trees<\/strong> that have been planted across\u00a015 sites<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0including 7 new ones such as Bergeval, Gomery, Ciergnon and Saint-L\u00e9ger. This represents 67 new experimental plots<\/strong> of 20 ares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On these, we test new species<\/strong>such as :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oriental beech<\/a> - Bosnian pine<\/a> - Hungarian oak<\/a> - Liquidambar<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are also testing southern origins<\/strong> native species, such as :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sessile oak<\/strong><\/a> of Gascony and the Sa\u00f4ne valley (France) - Common beech<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0southern Massif Central (France)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, we broadening the range of sources<\/strong> for certain species already planted in previous years :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scaly Oak<\/strong><\/a> from Bulgaria - Pubescent Oak<\/a><\/strong> Italy and south-eastern France - Byzantine Hazel<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0from Bulgaria<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Appointments have been made for spring 2022 with the various owners and managers of these new plantations to begin monitoring their health and growth.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
